Help Vidya replace the transmission and return to work
Vidya's my taxi is Vidya's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $200.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $120
• Labor charges: $40
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $15
