Help Victoria with an overdue electricity bill before summer
Help Victoria cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this summer.
🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana417 views
The electricity account is 4 months behind. Victoria received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Victoria called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Victoria is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Utility arrears: $90
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $45
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- due date
- 2026-06-24
- bill type
- Utility arrears
