Help Victoria keep her home - 5 months behind on rent
A termination letter arrived last week. Victoria needs $2,800 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Newport.

When my hours were cut in half in June, Victoria fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,800.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are 4 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Victoria has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $145
• Rent arrears (5 months): $2,050
• First month of rent as a buffer: $605
Glad we found this place.

Take care. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Wish I lived closer to Warsaw so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
Take care, Mason. Looking forward to the next update.
Keep going, Mason. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best
You're not alone, Mason. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
