Víctor was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Móstoles Orthopedic Institute recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,300, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,650 short.
my son has been in and out of Móstoles Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,300 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Víctor struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Víctor won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
