Help Verónica keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Verónica runs a volunteer pantry feeding 120 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Monday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 120 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Coyoacán market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $280
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170
• Baby formula and diapers: $135
• Refrigeration and electricity: $65
Thanks for being kind about this.
