Help Vasyl pay for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery at Kharkiv General Hospital
After an aortic valve defect, Vasyl was cleared for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Vasyl was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in August. The surgeon at Kharkiv General Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,600, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,300 short.
my brother has been in and out of Kharkiv General Hospital since August. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Vasyl struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Vasyl won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $45
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $610
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $460
• Physiotherapy sessions: $135
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
Thanks for being kind about this.

good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
