Vandana is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at the Hubballi Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550. The registrar has said Vandana can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vandana has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vandana would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Vandana isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Hubballi Institute of Technology bursar's office.
