Usman was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at the Lahore Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Usman is 52, worked as a farmer until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Lahore Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
