Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Monday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 87 each week. Donations have dropped by about 52% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Epe market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $300 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $55 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $65 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $180 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • You're not alone, Uche. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Jerusalem.

    • Praying for you, Uche. Great idea, hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Kasarani.

      • Rooting for you, Uche. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. All the best.
