Mocha is my German shepherd of two years. On 27 June we rushed to Fort Worth Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,900. They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha got me through my hardest year. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Fort Worth Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,900 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,900 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $520 • Medication and follow-up visits: $115 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $365 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
