Timur was diagnosed with colon cancer in October. The oncology team at Novosibirsk Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Timur is 40, worked as a hairdresser until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Novosibirsk Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,700
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $180

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. household costs while unable to work comes first ($520) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
