Help Tiffany keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Birmingham is running low just as demand rises; $1,200 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Friday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 359 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 59% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Birmingham market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $120
• Baby formula and diapers: $500
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $580

More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Birmingham
Wishing you peace, Tiffany. Hope you get there. Thinking of Birmingham.
Thanks for sharing this, Tiffany. Hope this works out for you. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless
Stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Buffalo so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Birmingham
