Thủy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October. The oncology team at Hanoi Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Thủy is 31, worked as a farmer until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hanoi Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
