Daisy is my cat of eleven years. On 24 March we rushed to Bakersfield Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $3,150. They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Bakersfield Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Daisy's recovery. Where the $3,150 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $840 • Medication and follow-up visits: $200 • Emergency surgery: $2,110 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
