Thủ Đức

For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Thủ Đức. In May, a fire in the building took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $300 goes: • Shop repairs and licensing: $40 • Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $160 • Working capital for the first month: $100 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Thắng

Small update. $152 so far, we've started the first stage.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($42 in total) the plan for replacing a cutting table and overlocker is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Thủ Đức: I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. We're at 11% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
