Terry was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at the Toronto Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Terry is 27, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Toronto Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $10,200 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480 • Scans and lab work: $1,150 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500 • Household costs while unable to work: $2,070 Thanks for reading all this.
