Help Teresa replace the transmission and return to work
Without my pickup Teresa can't work; a $1,950 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Labor charges: $280
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,350
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $320
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending strength. Hope you get there. Love from Khon Kaen.
Best of luck, Teresa. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Santos.
Praying for you. Hope the shop reopens soon. I'll check back for the next update.
Take care, Teresa. It takes guts to ask. Well done
