Help Teresa pay for a partial thyroidectomy at Charlotte Regional Medical Center
After a cleft palate needing repair, Teresa was cleared for a partial thyroidectomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Teresa was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in June. The surgeon at Charlotte Regional Medical Center recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $10,500, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $7,400 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Charlotte Regional Medical Center since June. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $10,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Teresa struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Teresa won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $7,400 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $480
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $2,300
• Post-operative medication: $280
• Physiotherapy sessions: $470
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,870
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
