Help Teodoro keep his home - 2 months behind on rent
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Teodoro needs $600 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Taguig.

After a sudden layoff at the packaging plant, Teodoro fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $600.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by January, the family must leave.
There are a toddler and a baby at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Teodoro has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $380
• Late fees and court costs: $30
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $170
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Updates from Herman
We're at 38% thanks to 10 of you. I made the first payment toward utilities in arrears. More news soon.
Quick update: $107 raised so far (18%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($60 in total) I made the first payment toward first month of rent as a buffer. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
