The electricity account is 2 months behind. Tejaswini received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before July's medical emergency.
Tejaswini called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Tejaswini is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Tejaswini's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
