Help Tayyaba restart a roadside café in Gujranwala after floodwater
A roadside café in Gujranwala needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after floodwater.
🇵🇰 Punjab, Pakistan336 views
For six years I have run a roadside café in Gujranwala. In April, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $360
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $105
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hang in there, Tayyaba. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 24 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in London donated after I showed her your page. Love from London.
