Taylor was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in December. The oncology team at the Riverside Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Taylor is 41, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Riverside Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $11,550 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750 • Scans and lab work: $1,100 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,800 • Transport to the Riverside Oncology Institute: $900 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Shawn
