Brooks, my father, passed away on 3 July after complications from pneumonia. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 12 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Brooks to have a dignified farewell.
