Help Tanvi keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Hyderabad.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Saturday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 62 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Hyderabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $280
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $145
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope things get better soon. Great idea, hope you get there. My neighbor in Jinja donated after I showed her your page.
Your post was clear and honest. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Peoria
Thinking of you and your family, Tanvi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Hyderabad.
