Help Sosuke pay for valve repair surgery at Setagaya University Hospital
After a torn ligament that needs reconstruction, Sosuke was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Sosuke was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in January. The surgeon at Setagaya University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,900 short.
my husband has been in and out of Setagaya University Hospital since January. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sosuke struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Sosuke won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $4,900 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,400
• Physiotherapy sessions: $480
• Post-operative medication: $230
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $390
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $2,400
With deep gratitude,

How is Sosuke doing now?
Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
