Help Sofía keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Wednesday from the back of a community center. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 317 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bogotá market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $650 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $330
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $290
Every share and every dollar helps.
