The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $5,350 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Glendale Orthopedic Institute since July. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, So-yeon struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time So-yeon won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.

It's all in the list in the story. physiotherapy sessions is the big one at $730, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. It helps to be asked.
