Help Smit restart a bicycle repair shop in Mumbai after a fire in the building
Smit has run a bicycle repair shop for three years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Mumbai. In July, a fire in the building took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $75
• Replacing a full set of tools: $400
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

you're not alone, Smit. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like!
Keep going, Smit. Looking forward to the next update. Take care.
