Help Siyabonga replace the suspension and return to work
Siyabonga drives for a living in Ekurhuleni, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $500 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $270
• Labor charges: $100
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Ekurhuleni.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Siyabonga?
Thank you. If you're in Ekurhuleni I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.

Thinking of you, Siyabonga. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours.
Sending love, Siyabonga. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 34 people at work. Greetings from Nîmes
Good luck, Siyabonga. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in São Paulo but we're thinking of you
Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
best of luck, Siyabonga. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Thinking of you and your family, Siyabonga. Small businesses are the heart of Ekurhuleni. Hope you're open again soon. After 21 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
