Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Monday from the back of a community center. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 309 each week. Donations have dropped by about 31% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Depok market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $250 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $150 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $75 • Refrigeration and electricity: $25 Every share and every dollar helps. - Siti

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) comes first ($150) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
