Help Silvia replace the radiator and cooling system and return to work
Without my motorbike Silvia can't work; a $1,550 repair would put her back on the road.
🇺🇸 United States720 views
I make my living with my motorbike. 7 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $120
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $1,250
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Silvia?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about towing and inspection, advice is welcome too. I'll keep the page updated.
Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of San Francisco.
Stay strong. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Silvia. I hope things turn around soon.
wishing you peace. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
