Shruthi earned a place in the first year of senior school at Thane Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Shruthi loves graphic design and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $70
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $25
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25

How is Shruthi doing now?
Hope you get there. After 26 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Shruthi?
Wishing you peace, Srinivas. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Rochester
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Shruthi.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. laptop is the biggest at $70. Happy to explain more.
Your post was clear and honest. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
Keep going. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Epe but we're thinking of you.
Sending strength, Srinivas. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
