I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,700. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,700 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $1,050 • Labor charges: $270 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $240 • Towing and inspection: $140 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Shirley

    • rooting for you, Shirley. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Hyderabad so I could bring a meal.

      • Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 13 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from São Paulo.
