Help Shirley get through 4 hard months with three children under 11
A single father in Auckland needs help with childcare, groceries and rent while Shirley retrains.

Last July I went through the death of my husband, and I'm now raising three children under 11 on my own. I work as a school kitchen assistant, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a web developer in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Rent top-up: $1,800
• Course fees and exam costs: $450
• Childcare and after-school care: $1,100
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Praying for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Jerusalem.
Take care, Shirley. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.
Stay strong, Shirley. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Houston.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Gwagwalada.
Take care, Shirley. Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 39 people at work. Blessings.
