I make my living with my food truck. 4 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $150 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $20 • suspension replacement (parts): $80 • Labor charges: $50 I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Shima

  1. 25% there. I made the first payment toward labor charges. Thank you.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 25% now ($37). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.

  3. Small update. $32 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
