Help Sheila keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Taguig is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 152 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Taguig market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $170
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $195
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
