Help Shapla afford 12 counseling sessions
After a house fire, Shapla has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $300.
🇮🇳 Rajasthan, India230 views
After a house fire, Shapla has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Kota Counselling Collective cost $15 each.
Shapla has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Shapla could afford. The therapist recommends 12 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Shapla, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $300 goes:
• 12 therapy sessions: $250
• Psychiatric assessment: $25
• Workbook and resources: $25

You're not alone, Mohammad. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
Thinking of you, Mohammad. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Put this on a community board in Birmingham this morning. Blessings

Wishing you the best, Mohammad. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out
Best of luck, Mohammad. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
