Johannesburg
Shanice earned a place in Year 11 at Johannesburg International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $255, which is more than they have. Shanice loves biology and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $255 goes: • Laptop: $135 • School uniform and shoes: $25 • Textbooks and workbooks: $90 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 Thanks for being kind about this.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($35 in total) the plan for laptop is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
