Help Shan replace the transmission and return to work
Shan's my food truck is Shan's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $1,250.

I make my living with my food truck. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.

• Labor charges: $290
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $300
• Towing and inspection: $90

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. transmission replacement (parts) is the biggest at $570. Fair thing to want to know.
