Help Shakil start the school year with the right tools
Shakil won a place at Sylhet International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Sylhet International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Laptop: $40
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Stay strong. Study hard! I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
best of luck. Hope this works out for you. After 8 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Aurangabad.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Sent it to 30 people at work. Thinking of Sylhet
Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Puebla so I could bring a meal.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Mangaluru donated after I showed her your page.
Thanks for sharing this, Shakil. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best
