Archie is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 8 August we rushed to the Arlington Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,250. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Archie is more than a pet - Archie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $370 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Arlington Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,250 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,250 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $860 • Medication and follow-up visits: $140 Thank you for reading my story. - Sergio

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Love from Chiang Mai

Good luck. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
