The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Sebastián received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless $500 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Sebastián called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $105 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Sebastián is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
