Help Sebastián replace the gearbox and return to work
Sebastián drives for a living in Córdoba, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• gearbox replacement (parts): $250
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Sebastián
Good news. Because of your gifts ($124 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Sebastián
