Help Sathi with an overdue heating bill before the rainy season
Help Sathi cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.
🇮🇳 India647 views
The heating account is 4 months behind. Sathi received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Sathi called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Sathi is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Heating arrears: $75
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $5
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Mumbai
Hope it all works out, Jewel. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Wishing you peace, Jewel. This could happen to any of us. God bless.
you're not alone, Jewel. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Lagos
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Praying for you, Jewel. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in Lagos but we're thinking of you
