Help Sari replace the gearbox and return to work

Without my tuk-tuk Sari can't work; a $300 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 7 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $300 goes: • gearbox replacement (parts): $150 • Labor charges: $60 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 • Towing and inspection: $40 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Sari
