Santiago is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Ottawa State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,850. The registrar has said Santiago can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Santiago has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Santiago would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Santiago isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Ottawa State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $4,850 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,900 • Final term tuition: $2,500 • Exam and lab fees: $230 • Textbooks and materials: $220 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Adalynn
