Archie is my cat of three years. On 22 November we rushed to Kathmandu Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kathmandu Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
