Help Sangeetha keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Nashik is running low just as demand rises; $500 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 29 families, and now we feed 320 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Nashik market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $300
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $120
• Baby formula and diapers: $45
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
