Pixel is my cat of thirteen years. On 8 October we rushed to São Paulo Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $700. They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to São Paulo Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $700 goes: • Emergency surgery: $460 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $125 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $115 Thanks for reading all this.
