Sandeep is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Kathmandu Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Sandeep can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sandeep has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sandeep would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Sandeep isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kathmandu Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $180 • Final term tuition: $410 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $30 I hope life is good to you. - Kabita
